Make your own Nunchucks

So last month we bought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVD. Just for nostalgia. well of course James loved the movie and has now become a ninja. Well I figured out how to make some nunchucks out of paper, tape, and paper clips. After of few rips and extra tape, we now have a ninja.

Jackson likes the duo swords.

Watch out!!

Strange Huh?

I just interviewed in a town where Johnny Appleseed died. Weird since I am living in his birthplace. Is it a sign?

Picture this . . .

Well, we went to Target last week and had the boys photos done. But be warned, the first two pictures here are deceiving. The photo session was a nightmare. Picture me on the floor of the Target photo studio trying everything I can think of to make Jack quit crying and stay in one place long enough to take a photo. Picture the poor Target photographer crawling on the floor with a camera in one hand trying to snap any picture that might turn out halfway decent. Obviously, we finally had some success. But we had a lot of crazy pictures too. The best of those are below the good ones (don't let the goofy pictures fool you, we had more tears than smiles!). Enjoy the fruits of my labors (no pun intended).

There and Back Again

Well we made it. We all had a good time in Ithaca.

Ithaca Falls.
One of the many falls surrounding the area. This one is in a neighborhood called Falls Creek.

Road Trip Help . . .

So, we're going on a road trip this week to check out a job for Jake. It's in Ithaca, NY which is about 6 hours from here. I have lots of ideas and stuff to entertain James, but I'm looking for ideas to entertain Jack in the car!

So, please let me know if anyone has ideas for activities, fun snacks, little toys, etc. Thanks in advance for any ideas you can share!

Boys at Home

For I think the first time since we moved, Becky has a night out with her good friend so it is just us boys. We really cut loose tonight.
Spaghetti for dinner which Becky actually pre-made. I just had to boil water.
I let James serve Jack's tray but he gave him a little too much.
No manners with Mom gone.
I tried to do dishes and next thing I know Jackson is playing with the toilet scrubber and a curtain rod that I can't place where it goes.
The better babysitter.

At the end of the night James says, "Mom is much better at this than you."
No arguments here.
Can't wait for Becky to get back!!

Randomness of Life

On Top of Old Smokey.
Anybody want to play King of Bunker Hill
Oh Dear!?
Becky always wanted a girl.
Jackson's favorite thing is getting into the flour. It only take 3 seconds until. . .
He does have cute flour footprints though.
