Sciencenter Halloween

The boys were excited to have another opportunity to wear their costumes at the Sciencenter Halloween party (especially since we'll not be trick-or-treating neighborhoods this year with Halloween on Sunday).
James picked out the costume, but keeps changing what he "is". Originally, he said a page (you know, the younger guy that helps out the knights). More recently given our obsession with the "Percy Jackson" book series, he said he was a "Camp Half-Blood Warrior" (sorry you'll have to read the books to know what that is!). Jackson picked out his costume also.
Many, many activities at the Sciencenter and where do we find Jack? That's right, with the trains.
And, James of course was with the "Creepy Crawlies" (here petting a hissing cockroach. Fabulous.) He must not be clear enough on my aversion to creepy crawlies. He asked if he could get a pet rat. No is just not a strong enough word sometimes.
One last photo op on the triceratops skull. James saw a friend just then and got a little distracted! It was a fun outing.

Love the costumes and we love percy jackson too! Although we aren't reading it, just watching the movie.

And I would never allow a pet rat in my house either.

James would love living here, cockroaches on my kitchen floor every morning, and I've killed at least 5 black widows on our back porch in the past six months, it is great fun!

Cute pictures...I am still debating if I'm going to renew our Sciencenter card. Probably should with winter coming.
