Well, I think we've had as many misadventures as adventures here in Mass. At the beginning we had difficulty with drivers licenses, car registration, internet hookup, banking, finding our way around in a city with no street signs. In the middle we had ticks (on both kids), James' terrible illness last month, a lot of taxes (it's not called Taxachusetts for nothing!). It seems Massachusetts isn't going to let us go out under the radar. James developed this strange rash last week and it got worse and worse, so we took him to the doctor. Seems he has poison ivy. Lovely. How he got poison ivy, we have no idea, since it's been raining here for the last 3 weeks and the kids haven't been outside much!
At least he is still his cheerful self (when he's not scratching!).

Poison ivy?? What in the world?
James is so Jake in that first picture. I can't believe how much they remind me of each other!
When do you get to join Jake?
Oh and I saw your sister Jenny today going into Melissa's new house. She is so cute pregnant.
oh darnit..no fun! Hope things go really well for a few months!
What kind of plants do you guys grow out there? J/K. Poor James--hope his rash and itchies are gone soon and hope things settle down for a few weeks for you someday...Jake is getting good family medicine experience through his best patient--James! He won't get rusty on this while he does sports medicine for a few years! Good luck with everything!
Love Jenny
